129-GN. London Trials.

You will remember that this was one of the early cars to have the modified arrangement of engine suspension, by removing the rear feet from contact with the frame.

At the time this change was made, the improvement was very definite and most encouraging, but for some reason or other the old trouble has gradually returned, and now between 15 and 20 m.p.h. the booming at the back of the car is unbearable.

You will appreciate that the matter is urgent, because this is one of the cars which we have to use for demonstration during the Motor Show, and I shall be glad to hear that you will either have the car brought to W. at once, or that someone representing you will have an opportunity of testing the car in London, which may be a guide for you as to the line to adopt in removing the trouble.
