With reference to your correspondence with JLE.{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager} I only want to make it clear that as you and WW. agree that where customers require it we can agree to the Jenks jacks being fitted, more particularly at the rear, we want to be certain in the first place that the fittings are decent.

Jenks are quite prepared to make something that we would consider satisfactory, within reason, and we would like your remarks on the fittings of the jacks we have sent you.

There is no doubt that with the modern tendency to cover in the rear of the bodywork, petrol tank, etc. the difficulty of getting a jack in position on the back is becoming almost an impossible one.
