S to W Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X8950 PN{Mr Northey}/BK{A. Birkett - Commercial Manager}3/LH{Mr Haworth}151026 re 88-LC - Trials Saloon In reply to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL/LG141026., we are arranging to have the two obsolete wheels on Mr. Royce's car, 7-EX, replaced by two of the late type wheels now fitted to 88-LC immediately the latter car returns from France; that is, providing 7-EX is still available in London when 88-LC arrives which we anticipate will be on Monday morning next. We also note that it is necessary for the tyres to be changed. Many thanks for sending the wheels originally fitted to 88-LC. We are arranging to collect these from Lillie Hall. With reference to the return of wheels from off 88-LC and 7-EX, we do not think a car will be leaving for Derby during the next few days that can carry these. Perhaps you will let us know whether you would like them sent back to you by passenger train, or whether you can send a car for them. Bk.{A. Birkett - Commercial Manager} P.M.
