With reference to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}12/KW. 21.11.34. and our telephone conversation of yesterday, we are glad to be able to tell you that Park Wards have agreed to make no extra charge for the non-standard fittings to the seats.

But please note this must not be taken as establishing a precedent.

As I tried to explain to you yesterday, Park Wards buy the standard fittings in quantities and they get a very special rate in consequence. They have to pay quite a lot more for one set of special fittings and, in addition, there is a fair amount of extra work involved so that they are, we think, in the ordinary way justified in charging extra.

We are going ahead on the assumption that the longer steering column is definitely wanted and are asking for the cut out to be omitted.

The foglamp should be sent, either to us here or to Park Ward & Co. and we will have it fitted. It will probably want a bracket and we shall have to charge for this and for connecting it up. We propose to have a switch fitted on the facia board to control the lamp.
