Raymond Mays' Car B-156-MR.

You will remember that this car was fitted with special brake drums, and possibly other non-standard brake fittings. They were transferred from his previous car B-144-LS.

He is now proposing to sell the car, and the point arises, therefore, as to whether you see any objection to it being sold with non-standard brake parts, or whether for specific reasons you wish either to see these parts before the car is sold, or remove them and replace them with standard parts.

We don't suppose that Raymond Mays would have any objection to our removing them and replacing them if we thought it desirable, but we must not put his car out of action more than for a day or so, as this might have the effect of losing a sale
