Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}1/F111118 I do not consider that we should wait for any further modification of the steering cross joints before commencing to deal with the situation. Mr Royce's last scheme is certainly quite satisfactory although I agree it involves a certain amount of work which it is not convenient to do away from the works or our repair shop, but the difficulties are not of such a nature that they cannot be satisfactorily overcome by a proper scheme for dealing with same.
