To: Mr Wormald Date: July 23rd 1914 Order No. Customer's No. Re Lanchester With reference to your attached Memo I do not think it is worth while spending much money on the seats. What I think is necessary is that there should be two seats fitted which are fairly comfortable (suitable for Mr Royce in case it is necessary to demonstrate any point on the running operation of the gears) & an efficient Wind screen in order that the silence of the gears may be observed.
