have been able to contact you. It was then my plan, if it suited us with you, to come up late Thurs p.m. and spend Fri. Am at the Works, return-ing on the afternoon, you see I am really on the same ground.
However, I now find we return quite late on Thurs. and on Friday I must attend to some business re: return accommodations, finances etc. I was much happy to receive your very kind note and heard the Queen Mary, and have been gleefully anticipating my visit to the Works, but it now seems quite impossible to get it in. Otherwise, there is a possi-bility I shall have some extra time in Paris, when I may prefer to perhaps fly back to London (or Derby) and board the Georgic at S.g. instead of Havre.
