40/50-HP CHASSIS - M2 SERIES - RADIATOR TUBES.

As requested we wrote I.C.I. Metals Ltd. and asked them to suspend work on Radiator Tubes to Order 3664 for "M2" Series.

They reply that the position at their works is as follows:-

The order was placed with them on 3-6-30 for the following tubes:-

"D" Tubes E.79449 .... 23,600.
Round Tubes E.79448 .... 1,654,000.

and the position with regard to same is as follows:-

The 23,600 "D" Tubes E.79449 are made.

Of the Round Tubes E.79448, 525,000 tubes are either finished or in progress, and have proceeded so far that they cannot be used for producing tubes E.79321 5 1/2 m/m.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}

There are 15x, 475,000 tubes in progress which can be used to produce tubes to our print E.79321.
The balance, 654,000, are held in abeyance.

Kindly let us have your instructions as to what tubes we are to purchase for "M2" Series.
