To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.11/JH. 7.5.36. 86116 Head-lamp Pillars for E.R.Hall's Cars. We have a request from E.R.Hall, to supply him with two pairs of head-lamp pillars as follows :- One pair of pillars as fitted to the standard 4 1/4 litre Bentley car, but with the tops modified to take the Marchal head-lamp. These, we understand, will have the taper fitting at the base. One pair of pillars similar to those fitted on B-35-AE, also with the tops made suitable for Marchal lamps. These, we beleive, have the square fittings at the base, and are extended forward 2", in order to clear the radiator cowling. Will you please issue the necessary instructions.
