Mr. Hancock from lis.

Referring to your letter dated 28.3.29.

It is probable that we shall have to always run with the plungers removed from the Bijur drip plugs which supply the ball ends on the cross steering. We should be glad if you will kindly observe how this scheme [illegible word crossed out] behaves.

We should like to know whether you consider the fouling of the cross steering on the shock damper casing is serious.

As regards the cutout controls. These tubes are similar to what we are using on the present Phantom. It is difficult for us to see how the tubes could get bent unless it may be some expansion or movement of the silencer has caused it. We should like to have your recommendations when you have looked into this matter.

We are sending you a chart shewing the Bijur drip plugs but we are very anxious indeed not to alter the drip plugs ourselves. These plugs were supplied by The Luvax Co. and we checked them for flow before they were fitted to the car. Therefore we do not want to alter these plugs unless we are sure there
