We have now returned the above machine duly tested by us.

This machine is found to be O.K. in all respects except two, these being as follows :-

(1) There is less than the minimum clearance of .026" between the bottom of the negative holder and the commutator (actually about .010").

(2) The open circuit volts at 600 r.p.m. were 13.1 volts instead of 13.6.
