For the Attention of Mr.Childs.

Dear Sirs,

We acknowledge your letter of the 5th instant, reference Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}12/WH, and note that the WT13 Horn of the latest type is proving satisfactory. We also note that you wish to return to us the original WT13's in order that we can bring these up to date. Will you please arrange for these horns to be despatched to us as soon as ever possible, addressed for the attention of the undersigned, so that we can proceed with the work of bringing to the latest pattern, without any delay.

We were certainly surprised to note that the regulator number ENS.1202/1 was found to be adjusted low, that is 10.9 volt, and you have had to break the seal to re-adjust it to 12.2 volt. Our record shows that this was set at 12.2 volts when it left, here, and we were wondering whether it has received an extra hard knock somewhere on the journey, or inadvertently received a bump at your end, in any case if it is now set satisfactorily, we trust it will prove efficient on test.

Yours faithfully,
JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED.
Technical Sales Department.
