BENSPORT.

DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EVL/M27.6.32.

You c/s?

The steering column for Bensport, as previously stated, will be that of Peregrine, and you have received from us the steering position.

There is one difference which will affect the tube length, and that is, we shall have to use a spring steering wheel, which we think must have flat spokes. Would you please obtain for us particulars of several well known makes of spring wheel.

We may wish the wheel to be rather bigger than the 25HP. diameter agreed to for Peregrine, in the case of this sporting car, and suggest about 18.5" dia.

The controls at the top of the column have to resemble those on Bentley, so those for Peregrine cannot be used.

We shall endeavour to use as many of the Peregrine inside pieces of the mechanism as we can, but the external shape will have to be modified.

If you could send us particulars of these wheels, we will immediately let you have a scheme for the top of the column.
