REVISED EPICYCLIC 3rd. SPEED GEARBOX. X.5310. X.7310. X.523.
This is to confirm having sent you on Saturday N. sch. 3155, a drawing of the gears in the tree speed part of the above box, the object being that in conjunction with N. sch. 3149, (also sent you on that day,) you should be able to get a set of gears in progress for testing purposes.
The information given as regards the jaw clutches is somewhat experimental, the actual best proportions probably being arrived at by test.
Particulars as to the casing and actuating gear will follow in the course of a few days.
