(7) Bad oil leak from clutch pit, oil escaping through rear of engine.

(8) Scraper ring on No.4. piston broken after a mileage of 1083, new one fitted, broke after a mileage of 499.

(10) Failure of main oil pipe cracking at joint to crankcase union at a mileage of 9,593.

(11) Half crankshaft period became more noticeable after a mileage of 10,133. At a mileage of 10,656 it had become very pronounced.

(12) No.12 Valve spring broke after a mileage of 11,696, spare spring broke after 500 miles.

(13) Main oil pipe again broke but at pump connection after a mileage of 12,196.

(14) Contact points lost .009 clearance during 7,807 miles, rubbing block wear main cause.

(15) Connecting rod from servo to front brake equalizing shaft became bent, there not being sufficient ground clearance when travelling on roads with cart ruts, or as in this case when travelling on frozen snow.

(16) Brakes wear too rapidly, have to be adjusted approx. every 1300 miles, rear 4 full turns, front one notch.

(18) 2nd Gear comes out of mesh first noticed after 1162 miles.

(18) Steering wobbles developed after 6439 miles. Steering not selective at maximum speeds particularly when running on uneven cambered surfaces.

(19) Hydraulic dampers - Oil leaks from peened over plate at end of rocker shaft. O.S. rear damper lost oil through joint of valve chest, nuts worked loose at a mileage of 10,656.

(20) Slight leak of water from radiator at anchorage of O.S. found to be due to weakness of bottom tank where machined (cracked) after a mileage of 9590.
