TO BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} ORIGINAL DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EVL/M5.7.23. c. to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 20. HP. CHASSIS HEAD LAMPS. X4090 We thank you for your BY/C15/H29623., and note that you propose at some future date to raise the lamps 1" according to our original scheme. We also note that you point out that our scheme for the lamp RB.{R. Bowen}71 is to this dimension, and not the present height. We have now received a drawing of lamp RB.{R. Bowen}60 and shall shortly receive a set of lamps. These lamps will go on the fittings provided on our scheme for lamp RB.{R. Bowen}71., so we think the car having these brackets should be got ready as soon as possible so that it may be fitted with lamps RB.{R. Bowen}60 and brought down to WW. for our approval, and possibly then taken to Sales. Lamps RB.{R. Bowen}71 should be also brought down in the car so that we might try them on also. We will send you the two lamps RB.{R. Bowen}60 as soon as we receive them. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
