W.III NO.10 UNIT.

Further to our specification for the above unit (RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}2/aH.1.4.39) which is now to be used for the Continental Bentley, will you please include the following.

(1) Strengthened exhaust valves PD.403 (EB.4845) in view of failures on B.8.V.
(2) Shot-blasted valve springs which RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}will supply.
(3) RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NMC. to confirm that flexible flywheel Fig. (4) Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}571 is O.K.
(4) Regarding the coolant jets in the cylinder block, this is now being detailed by By/CS.
(5) RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HC. to ensure that correct ignition distributor is supplied having the hand control to DE.2300 (DCD.1182) with governor characteristic, RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}13/aH.22.2.39.
