To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. Copy to CWB. (struck through) BJ5/H24.9.25. +8230 EXHAUST SYSTEM. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG11.9.25. The last form of silencer fitted to 108-MC appears to be satisfactory as regards silence, but it is disappointing to find that it causes such considerable loss of power. I attach a copy of CWB10/LH{Mr Haworth}2 2.925. Will you please let us know whether R.{Sir Henry Royce} has agreed to this last design, and whether it is being tested for 10,000 miles? B.J. | ||
