Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. WST v6/17. BY/RD3/W.2.12.35. WIRING. ALL CHASSIS. With reference to the list of conductors attached to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.7/MA.29.11.35, we prefer to retain 90/36s for 'Push Button to Main Switch' and 'Main Switch to Armature Operated Switch' to prevent the creation of a red 40/36s.conductor. In adjusting the sizes of these cables we have avoided as far as possible, adding to our already voluminous list of cables. The same remarks apply to the petrol gauge feeds where we use 23/36s. With regard to the side and tail lamp distribution conductors and the stop lamp feed, you suggest increasing from our proposal of 23s. to 40s. but unless you have a very good reason we would prefer to retain 23s. Admittedly the distance is great but the current is small, and we do not think 23s. will cause too much voltage drop. In regard to the foot switch circuit for the dippers, this is and always has been, 40/36s. BY/RD. | ||
