RECEIVED 5 FEB 1931 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} x-8774. BY/HEB{H. Biraben}1/M.5.2.31. PHANTOM I. 10-EX. With reference to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rml/ME4.2.31, will you kindly let us have from the Experimental records particulars for 10-EX. In your memo' you stated that 10-EX. corresponds with Coachbuilders' Print F.77841, but from the incomplete record which we have, we doubt if this is correct. According to our records, 10-EX. was a Short Type Blue Sports Car, Plate Dashboard, Special lowered Steering Column and Pedals. Whereas EAC.14. Sports Phantom to print F.77841 had a Cast Dash moved forward 1.500, and Special Steering Column. In your memo' you state that 10-EX. had 'D' Type Steering and Subframe Levers and we should like you to confirm this. On Sch 2316-7 On EAC.14. the Front and Rear Tracks were also wider than 'W' Series. Also kindly inform us as regards Front and Rear Hartfords, as this would affect the Body Work, as we have to send a Chassis Print to H.O. YES The EAC.14. Print also shows Subframe Brackets, whereas our record states no Subframe for 10-EX. and therefore we assume that the Body Fixing Bolts were fitted. No .083 .032 .03 8. .03 .009 .0072. BY/HEB.{H.
