To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. from EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} 86115 EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/HP.19.1.34. c. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} JLE.{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager} WST re Screen Wipers. We notice that the Klaxon wiper as fitted to Bentley Cars (and R.R) has an angle of wipe of a little over 90°. In muddy weather the screen becomes sprayed with mud, and one drives through a spectacle plate of a loco. Have we approached Messrs. Klaxon about this feature in the past, or is there a chance of getting some improvement if we took the matter up with the makers. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
