Ltd., 60/66, Rochester Row, Westminster, S.W.1. For the attention of Mr. Brooks. Dear Sirs, We are despatching for your attention 6 pistons to our piece No. EW.2115. These have done a considerable amount of running, and show the hard bedding at the top of the skirt with which you have already been acquainted. We would like you to supply a further 14 pistons, modified in the grinding to try and improve this bedding. Also, as a future consideration, we would like you to look into the possibility of lightening this piston, and let us know what you would suggest.
