I see in the last month's issue of the I.A.E. Journal, there is a considerable amount of information on gears on cast-iron camshafts.

If possible, we do want to be in a position to use a cast-iron camshaft on Myth and therefore, if we can do anything on the design to ease the work on the gear, it should be worth while looking into the matter.

The oil pump, in any case, will be less than half-size.
