Special "Twenty" having the following features to MR Royce's instructions:- Dash to Rear Axle 93ins. Higher and wider dashboard. Balloon Tyres 31 x 6. All these modifications are shewn on H.Sch.2619. Front and Rear Wheel Arches H.Sch.2620. Frame, Body Brackets and Step Irons. H.Sch. 2636. Drawing of complete car. TYPE OF BODY. Two door, close coupled, COUPE LIMOUSINE. Body No.GR.{George Ratcliffe}8604. modified to suit the chassis on the lines indicated in EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/25.6.28. SEATING. Two on the front seat in separate sliding or folding seats Two on the rear emergency seat. FRAMING. Framing to be of best English Ash, and suitable for mounting on the R-R Body Brackets. The Barker Semi-Flexible construction is to be used. The body weight should be kept as small as is possible. DOORS. Two doors, hung on the screen pillars, to open at right angles or more. Strong outside hinges preferably made of Steel. Handles of approved pattern. Locks with double striking plates Floating doors. Windscreen. Vertical, or nearly so, with split top glass. Triplex Glass kind with permanent waterproof joint to glasses. Smith Mechanical Wiper. Front pillars to be of small section above the waist line. WINDOWS. To be raised by mechanical lifters of light design. Frameless glasses of Triplex Glass .187ins thick. SCUTTLE VENTILATORS. Side ventilators only to be fitted. These should be of ample size and flush fitting. WINGS & VALANCES. Wings to be made to suit the small wheels Valances to suit the raised step brackets. The whole to be sent to Derby for mounting unpainted. CUSHIONS. Height of driving seat to be according to standard dimension for the "Raked Column". Rear cushion to drawing.
