As you are aware, the above chassis has been fitted with the G.C.D.134 Rear Brake Equaliser for Girling Brakes incorporating Bracket GB.3071 and Operating Lever GB.3072 in Aluminium Bronze material.

This step was taken to obviate the expense and delay which would have been incurred if we had instructed the production of forgings, and whilst these pieces, which have been increased in section, may prove satisfactory, we wish it to be clearly understood by all concerned that the chassis to which these are fitted should be used for normal running purposes only and under no circumstances where heavy braking will be necessary, otherwise we cannot accept responsibility.

We will arrange to replace the above immediately you advise us that the geometry is correct.
