From these tests
as far as torque
reaction is concerned
we can do without
either more so the
damper in the cross
member.
We may get some
more effective results
by the use of softer
rubber in the front
cross member. These
tests will follow.

Shock Absorbers

So far these have
not produced any
audible knocks
and no appreciable
oil leak. There is a
weep from the front gland
