With reference to yours Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG7.9.25 regarding Stop Watch No.3141, recently sent into stores for despatch to makers on account of same being unsatisfactory. "We are now in receipt of a letter from Messrs. J.W. Benson Limited. regarding the Stop Watch referred to above. They report that they are quite at a loss to understand the reason for its failure, and they feel sure that it is only a slight one. However, the Watch will be thoroughly overhauled and tested, and they hope that on its return it will be satisfactory in every way. Needless to say the correction will be carried out free of charge.
