Inquiring whether the new '90' pattern Dunlop tyre is intended to replace the buttressed tread and MA.2 tyres.

Royce - Buyer} Re: "90" pattern and buttressed tread Dunlop tyres. ------------------------------------------ Since the introduction of the "90" pattern tyre on both models, we are not clear if we are still agreeable to equipping our chassis with the buttressed tread tyres for use on cars for abroad. The buttressed tread tyre was an alternative to the MA.2 silent tread and was used principally on chassis abroad. We still have a number of requests for the buttressed tread tyre on our chassis, but before ordering supplies and fitting these we shall be glad to know if there is any objection or if the "90" pattern tyre combines the qualities of the two previous types of tyre and replaces the buttressed as well as the MA.2.
