APPROVED LUBRICANTS (CONTINUED)

It is understood that the lubricants tested were representative samples of the products to be sold under the designated trade names, but no responsibility is assumed by the Gleason Works in this regard.

If any change is made in the lubricants in order to change viscosity, pour test, etc., a re-check should be made on the lubricant.

The usual specifications of lubricants, such as pour test, viscosity, etc., were not investigated as these properties are settled upon by the lubricant and axle manufacturers.

It is, of course, essential in any gear drive that all bearings be of ample capacity, and that the lubricant be free from any lapping agents.
