Sa. from Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X4400 Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 1/LG5.12.21. "ENOTS" LUBRICATORS. X4400 (crossed out) X4337 Referring to your Po/A1/3. dated 30th.Nov.21. This grease gun is an equivalent to the "Alemite" Lubricators which are fitted to a great number of American cars. The scheme is that the connections are fitted to the points which require greasing, the operator then goes round with the grease gun and connects it to each point. The grease gun is capable of exerting a pressure of 500 lbs. per sq.in. The time taken to grease a 40/50 H.P. R-R Chassis can be reduced to one-quarter when Enots Lubricators are used. The advantage of the "Enots" over some of the other makes is that there is a non-return valve on the grease gun so that it is not necessary to release the pressure before the gun is removed from the connection. We would recommend that you obtain a set of Lubricators and a Grease Gun from the makers. They have a set of lubricators which are made to fit the present R-R 40/50 H.P. chassis. These connections were got out in conjunction with ourselves. Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} (upside down text at bottom) R.R. (C.D.) 100. Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 1. 19.8.'21. (S.1841) | ||
