X.6006. 48 COIL HIGH OUTPUT DYNAMO.

We have in the laboratory two spare present production 56 coil armature dynamos which we think might usefully be modified into 48 coil high output machines.

To do this each machine would require a new 48 coil armature, and the E.J.B. modification to the poles.

In view, however, of the experiments in progress for the improvement of dynamo performance, it would be an advantage if in the first instance these two machines were fitted with 48 coil armatures only; the complete change to high output machines by pole modification to be made later as circumstances demand.

Later, these machines would be available for experimental cars which at present are not fitted with high output dynamos.
