X4383 To EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /RD6/MLJ 4.5.24. RE 20 H.P. DYNAMO. We have taken from Production one Dynamo No.917 and inspected it, and hand same to you. It appears to be O.K. in every respect, the Commutator micas being well cleared away. Will you please give this machine a run and let us know if you consider it in accordance with your specification and that we are getting the best out of the job. This procedure is just to "keep an eye on Production". When examining the machine we accidently chipped a corner off the control brush, but have fitted a new one, which however requires bedding, the old one is sent also so that you may see the surface thereof. Would you kindly return the machine to this Dept. when finished with together with your remarks. BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /RD. | ||
