P.III.
Carburetters.

The four-carburetter scheme was discussed and considered to be very expensive in view of the fact that a two-carburetter scheme as now being tried out is giving promise of satisfaction.

Nor. instructed that all work on production of four-carburetter scheme be stopped for two weeks.

Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} will report on the progress of the two-carburetter scheme at next conference in two weeks' time.

The purchase of the first 50 twin carburetters from America was not objected to and Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} will make a proposal on these lines at the next meeting.

Next Show
20/25.

Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} stated that we must have independent front springing on the 20/25 at next Olympia and that we cannot under any circumstances consider showing the car without it.

Although the time allowed is considered to be too little for any new design to be made and developed it was considered to be just possible by using the existing P.III. design scaled down where necessary.

Torsion Bar
Spring.

The torsion bar spring was mentioned by E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} as an alternative design but the time required for development puts it out of the running.

The torsion bar spring however was favourably considered as being suitable for developing for application to the Bentley chassis and in order to try out an existing design it was decided to purchase a Citroen car.

Citroen Car.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} will give to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} exact particulars of the type of car required.

Wraith.

It was decided that E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} should go right ahead with the scaled down front suspension scheme for application to 20/25 which will then become virtually the Wraith and this will be next year's show car.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} will get together and draw up a specification of this chassis ready for Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s next visit.
