Mr. Hives has agreed to give further test to the 19 x 7 straight side rims using two weights of American tires thereon, i.e. the standard and an extra heavy tire of 6 ply construction, corresponding possibly to the Dunlop Fort.

Would you help us to reach a conclusion by -

(a) Sending us a print of the American rim section with .810 ledge width to which Mr. Ross refers -

(b) Advising us of any further steps towards an agreement between yourselves and the American Tire and Rim Association on the question of a new standard D.C. rim -

(c) Advising us of any steps towards the production of a 19 x 7 Dunlop Fort D.C. tire and 4" rim to suit.

I wish also to take this opportunity to thank you for the courtesies extended to Mr. Southern and myself during our recent visit, by yourself and your associates.

With kind regards,

Very truly yours,

Maurice Olley
