| To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} 300B Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}11/JH.22.6.37. CONTINENTAL PHANTOM III REAR BRAKES. There are a pair of drums in the shop for the above car fitted with Brimol liners. These drums are useless in their present state as they have not been heat treated long enough. Will you please have them soaked for 12 hours at 230°C, the present liners cut out and new liners made of Millenite to drawing G.84858 shrunk in. The interference should be .030" - .035".
