The Delco distributor which failed is being sent back to us intact, so that an examination can be carried out on it in the Works. Since then, a second one has also failed, but until we receive these parts at the Works we shall not know the reason. Spares of both the Delco and Rolls-Royce varieties have been sent to Chateauroux. We are hoping to find out on the Test Bed at Derby the cause of the trouble.

As regards changing the contact breaker arms on 6.B.IV, the car left England with its contact breaker arms having the original type small rubbing blocks. One of these has failed on 25.G.VI. We, therefore, fitted stronger rubbing blocks like the ones normally on Rolls-Royce distributors to all our Wraith cars, and sent a pair out for 6.B.IV.
