- 3 - Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} 13. INDUCTION SYSTEMS. We will get hold of the head off Ribb's car and find out whether there is really any difference between the 4-port and 6-port induction systems, with their respective air silencers. 14. VACUUM IGNITION CONTROL. This is to be fitted up on a 6-cylinder. 15. 6-CYLINDER HIGH POWER ENGINE. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} will demonstrate some curious noises in this engine, as fitted to 9.B.V., to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} and Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/OTS. 16. GEARBOXES. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/PJH. will issue a report as to what the actual increase in weight is of the rationalised gearbox since it's inception, and whether this is justified. 17. INDUCTION SYSTEM ON THE TEST BED. We are going to get a new twin induction system on the test bed. 18. RUNNING AFTER SWITCHING OFF. If the Duplex induction system looks like taking more than a week's work on the test bed to put it right, we will put it on the floor for a while. 19. 4-CYLINDER ENGINE. This will be fitted in the Ripple. 20. BACK AXLE GEARS FOR THE 4-CYLINDER ENGINE UNIT. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} will see if he can find the gears which were used in Hall's car at Shelsely. If he cannot find them we will use the gears out of the brake rig. 21. ALUMINIUM CAM WHEEL. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} will do something about as it is at present in HFS's Experimental Dept., and is not making the necessary progress. Cont'd..... | ||
