Besides making provision for flexibly mounting the exhaust system, we have introduced various modifications to cover complaints we have received at various times. They are:-
(1) Intermediate expansion box on occasions comes in contact with the sidemember of the frame. To overcome this we have rotated the box about the pipe, which will give us .4 clearance.
(2) The pipe flanges aft of the second and third boxes have been stiffened up to minimise distortion due to welding.
(3) The flange behind the front expansion box has been deleted altogether.
