J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 6.8.15. Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/Mor2/L6815. We return herewith correspondence re experimental cars, in connection with which we have to report that 49GB has not yet been despatched to Mr Royce. The reason of this is that Holmes & Co. the bodybuilders, state that they cannot obtain the wings, and the people who supply these wings to them state that not being war material they are compelled to give precedence to other orders and they can give no promise for delivery . We however got Holmes & Co. to wire them last night to try and urge that they would let us have these wings because the Coachbuilders cannot make much progress with the body until we have received these. We however think that we should now sell 1926 even if this may cause some little inconvenience, and we therefore propose to hand this car over to the Repair Dept. with instructions for them to prepare same for sale. Should you not agree to the above perhaps you will kindly instruct us otherwise. p. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Mor.
