SMALLER DIAMETER WIRING CABLES FOR "SPECTRECodename for Phantom III" CHASSIS.

Mr. Davies has pointed out that on the "SpectreCodename for Phantom III" chassis it will be very difficult to accomodate all the wires unless some reduction is made in the size of the same, and suggested that we examined the possibilities of such reduction.

We have looked into this question and agree that a reduction in the size i.e. cross sectional area is quite permissible in certain instances.

A list of cables which we recommend for alteration not only on SpectreCodename for Phantom III but also on the other R.R. Chassis and the Bentley is given below :-

Side and tail lamp circuit from 40/36 to 23/36
(all chassis)

Stop lamp circuit - from 40/36 to 23/36
(all chassis)

Horn circuit - from 40/36 to 23/36
(all chassis)

Ignition circuit - from 40/36 to 23/36
(all chassis)

In the case of the "SpectreCodename for Phantom III" the common positive feed for both ignitions should remain 40/36.

Headlamp dipper circuit - from 40/36 to 23/36
(all chassis)

Dynamo shunt circuit - from 40/36 to 23/36.
(all chassis)

Distribution board to starter main switch solenoid circuit - from 90/36 to 40/36.
(Bentley & 20/25)
