-2- BJL/D15.8.27. Such a car standing about would always draw a crowd but their remarks are not always complimentary. The car should not be taken anywhere that people are likely to congregate. I hope to be in Derby quite soon and can then discuss with you and Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} when it would be possible for us to produce a number of these chassis and when it is intended to introduce the aluminium engine as standard. I made no attempt to drive at high speeds on the narrow and crowded roads coming back from Frinton yesterday, as I was chiefly interested in whether the car was reasonably comfortable in addition to being a high speed car. Taken all round I was favourably impressed. BJ. | ||
