Replying to your memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Smth.13/AP.22.3.37, you will note in the Daily Reports that the propellor shaft damper does not remain constant in poundage. We have examined the friction surfaces, which appeared clean but the bedding was very patchy.

We are also troubled with the damper poundage varying on 6.B.IV's propellor shaft.

The sliding joint on 3.B.IV. is free and has given no trouble.
