Dear B.J.,

We left Boulogne at 2 p.m. arrived here about 5 p.m. A few miles out of Boulogne i was greatly disappointed to have a violent steering wobble at about 58 miles per hour on hitting a bad patch of road. If this happened to occur when passing another vehicle it might be very embarrassing, the car takes entire control momentarily; this of course must not be possible, otherwise one loses entire confidence in the car. On arrival i found the N.S.r. tire 40 lbs. pressure only and O.S.r. 45 lbs. i have raised these to 50 lbs., our instructed pressure to owners, and will report any improvement. Percy was not aware of the wobble.

we had about 30 miles of road so bad that the average speed was about 4 miles per hour, but the lower portion of windscreen cracked right across.

(Signed) P.N.
