To Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/FHA. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL. X8510 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL1/LG26.1.28. INDUCTION PETROL DRAIN PIPES. E.71979A. This trouble is entirely new to us, and cannot be found, in any form, on our test cars which have run a very large mileage. The complaint may possibly be limited to cars used in the country from which the Madrid memo. emanated; in which case it may be due to the quality of petrol available. In any case, it appears to indicate that the drain scheme employed does do some useful work and therefore is worthy of the issue of instructions to Depots to keep this passage clear. We should think the mileage must be very large before the pipes are completely blocked up. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL. Memos. returned. | ||
