BY/SS.{S. Smith}4/J.6.5.36. PHANTOM III CHASSIS - FLYWHEEL & CLUTCH. OILITE BUSH - G.83571. During the last week of March, a failure of the above bush was reported by the Experimental Dept. through the Bush seizing on the clutch driving shaft, as shown on the blueprint EXI.25. Because of this failure the ordering of the bulk production quantity was withheld, as a changeover to a floating type of bush was contemplated. We wish to point out that we are still waiting for a decision and are being pressed by the makers' who are anxious to complete their dies. In the meantime will the Order Office please keep production supplied by the present type of bush. BY/SS.{S. Smith} | ||
