Thank you for your E1/M16.7.27. I am not, however, quite clear as to the meaning of your remark "It must always be possible to cut out the green light by switching off the charging switch". I think you must have misunderstood our sentence "We consider that the green lamp should be connected to some point on the system as near to the battery as possible", to mean the green lamp coil, whereas of course we only meant this to apply to the lamp itself, and have no intention but that the lamp should be put out by its relay switch when the charging switch is put off. The coil and the lamp must necessarily each have a switch of some kind between itself and the battery.

The original Lec.2570 has now been returned to you for correction as suggested.
