Dear Sirs, We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 12th instant, reference as above, in regard to a Marles Steering Gear for one of your experimental 25-HP cars. As requested we are enclosing herewith drawing of our smaller size Gear, viz our D.7, for your information, but definitely we should not recommend this smaller gear for a 25-HP car. If you would kindly let us know the front axle weight of this car ready for the road, excluding passengers, we should then be able to confirm this, or otherwise.
