X.4030 - U.S.A. BOSCH DYNAMO.

Please find attached :-

(1) Photostat copy of open circuit voltage curves of the above dynamo.

(2) Photostat copy of ampere output curves of the above dynamo in the cold and hot conditions, to which has been added a curve of the specified performance of the dynamo for R.R. Cars.

We have already reported on the poor workmanship of this dynamo but we thought that the performance might be reasonably good. It will, however, be seen from the curves that the performance also is comparatively poor. The machine ran quite well during the tests. It will be seen that the general characteristics of performance are the same as those of the Rotax. Curves of variation of field current are given in the same way as in the case of that other dynamo.
