For the attention of Mr. Martindale.

Dear Sirs,

We received your telegram instructing us to cut a small supply of Spauldite interleaving strips 56" x 2" x .031" and despatch them to you today.

We are exceedingly sorry that it is not possible for us to do this. We hope to have some sheets here tomorrow from the mills long enough to cut 56" in which case we will despatch the strips to you on Tuesday or Wednesday.

If there is any difficulty over the length we will communicate with you immediately.

Yours faithfully,
pp. SPAULDINGS LTD.

H.J.W.Couzens.
